Family Travel in Barcelona

We loved living in Barcelona, Spain for five weeks this summer. Barcelona has been one of our most favorite cities that we’ve traveled together as a family. The mix of people, beaches, scenery, sightseeing, shopping, arts, and culture made our stay in the city a truly memorable one.

When we first arrived in Barcelona, we weren’t quite sure how we would spend all of our days. But with the plethora of festivals, museums, shopping malls, and outdoor activities in the city, we were able to find the right balance between traveling and living. The girls enrolled in a local preschool for a few weeks, which helped my wife and I free up our time to do some of the things that we wanted to do without the kids. In the end, we couldn’t have asked for anything more with our time in Barcelona.

Here’s some of our favorite memories from traveling (and living) in Barcelona. Enjoy!

Barcelona looks amazing! Though perhaps not the most impressive playground I’ve ever seen… 🙂

    • Thanks, Angela. You’re right…Barcelona was great, but the playgrounds were not.
